A typical equipment purchase carries the performance risk on your side of the table: you pay, and the return depends on whether the projections hold. The enPact suite is structured differently. Emissis guarantees the payback period set out in your proposal — the figure that follows from the forecast energy savings and the capital cost.
If the verified savings come in below the forecast kWh, the payback would otherwise stretch. In that event, Emissis credits back the difference in capital cost needed to restore the original payback period — so the payback you were quoted is met at the verified rate of saving. The downside risk sits with Emissis, not with your capital budget.

The guarantee is assessed against the formal savings verification report — not interim monitoring — under the same operational conditions used to model the forecast. It applies provided that:
The Savings Guarantee addresses the energy savings outcome. The equipment itself is covered separately, with terms that depend on the product. For the enPact FilterPro and enPact Refrigeration & Cooling devices — the products covered by the Savings Guarantee statement — Emissis warrants against defects in materials and workmanship for five years from original supply, with repair or replacement at Emissis’s expense, replacement units free of charge, and change-outs carried out by the accredited installing partner.
Other Emissis solutions carry their own coverage — enPact Chillers is engineered for a 10+ year performance lifespan with no recurring service requirements, and Pureflow includes a 10-year manufacturer’s limited warranty. The exact warranty terms that apply to your equipment are set out in your proposal.
The device warranty applies to units installed by accredited partners and commissioned onto the Emissis monitoring platform, with the monitoring subscription kept active. A unit performing to specification is warranted under the Product Warranty; the savings it delivers are guaranteed under the Savings Guarantee.
